Some of you may have noticed that Houston is keeping the roof closed more often this year. They have changed their parameters.
We have changed the formula for the stadium roof so that we can anticipate more accurately when the roof will remain closed. In the process, the VMI this week showed the Astros were adjusting from warmer air to colder air. They will not need to adjust this series, because they have been hitting there for several games already. Their VMI is actually very close to zero until they leave for a road trip, or open the roof for a game.
If you have comments or questions feel free to contact us. We will try to stay on top of these atmospheric details.
